Calligraphy Alphabet for Beginners
Now that you practiced your up and downstrokes, it's time to take the next step: the alphabet!
Practice it by following the numbered arrows.
Remember: upstrokes = thinner strokes (apply less pressure)
downstrokes = thicker strokes (apply more pressure)
If your nib is digging into the paper, you are probably applying too much pressure on the upstrokes. So remember to just slightly glide upward across the paper to achieve a fine hairline for your upstrokes.
